2007, als Girls-Mag noch im Ideenstadium ist, lerne ich Mieze bei einem Fotojob kennen. Sie macht ein Praktikum bei einer mir befreundeten Schneiderin, deren Klamotten ich fotografieren soll, und Mieze bietet sich als das Model an. Die Bilder werden super, ich finde die Zusammenarbeit sehr locker und angenehm, und erzähle ihr von meinen Girls-Mag-Plänen, ob sie vielleicht Lust hätte, da mitzumachen. Hat sie, sehr sogar.

So startet Girls-Mag 2007, und ich freue mich besonders über die neuen Möglichkeiten der Bildoptimierung, die mir heute erlauben, diese wunderbaren Aufnahmen aus den ersten Shootings hier im neuen Glanz ausstellen zu können (mehr dazu hier)

Start ist das legendäre „Happy Birthday“ Shooting.

  In 2007, when Girls-Mag was still just an idea, I met Mieze (Mee:tse) during a photo shoot. She was doing an internship with a seamstress friend of mine, whose clothes I was supposed to photograph, and Mieze offered to be the model. The pictures turn out great, I find the collaboration very relaxed and enjoyable, and I tell her about my Girls-Mag plans and ask if she might be interested in joining. She is, very much so.

So Girls-Mag started in 2007, and I’m particularly excited about the new image optimization options that allow me to showcase these wonderful shots from the first shoots in a new light here.
